Tilt - Issue 4

Tilt: A Queer Zine' is a response to a need to represent and be represented. The world is a little bit too straight for many of our liking and the project of queering is often born from that slant or tilt in perspective one acquires through living our queer lives. To occupy a queer body means you start seeing things queerly, but how can one understand this if one has not experienced it? How can one share it with those who have not yet allowed themselves that sight or liberty? This zine was one way to tap into that view point and experience, so that everybody had access to a queer world and way of life with all its tedha-ness.

Tilt brings together queer South Asian artists from all walks of life and in all their glory and complexity to the pages of this zine, where they quietly exist in conversation with one another, across time and borders. All proceeds go towards making further editions possible and giving space to more queer artists to share their work with the world.
